The Event

Think Green aimed to bring together professionals and like-minded people to exchange ideas and discuss new strategies for promoting sustainable development. While raising awareness about the environment, we are giving each attendee the chance to support the treatment of stray animals through the payment that they do to purchase the event tickets.

Asif Ahmed Tonmoy, will be introducing the idea of “The impact of Sustainable Businesses for Green Economy” - a topic relevant in today’s time with a growing economy like ours. As the Enterprise Development Program Specialist at OXFAM Great Britain, he believes in and advocates for the inclusion of more sustainable projects that affects the environment positively in the long term.

Rubayat E Shams Anik, Network Manager at UN Sustainable Development Network, and our third speaker introduce “Good Governance for Land Resources keeping Climate Change a Priority”. He will discuss ideas of how to adapt to the ever-growing changes and how we can help from our limited time and knowledge. Although the demand and supply curve rarely reach equilibrium for our necessary goods, we can at least try to ensure lesser damage to our people and our world.

Mahenaz Chowdhury, founder, and Zero-waste designer at Broqué bring forth the inclusion of “Sustainable Fashion and the Environment” to introduce our decision to help the environment. She is an artist, climate activist, and sustainable market system development expert. Her recent Goethe Institut-funded film “Once there were Rivers” spoke of industrialization’s impact on the ecosystem and our quality of life.
